Accelerating Ireland’s shift towards a sustainable future

Sustainability Works is one of Ireland’s leading sustainability and ESG consultancies. They help organisations develop and execute actionable strategies to tackle complex sustainability issues.
Three Inspiring Founders
Founded by Karen Deignan, Laura Heuston and Aideen O’Hara in 2019, SustainabilityWorks has grown hugely in this time and their brand and marketing collateral needed to evolve to reflect this. We started by looking at their brand values, vision and overall mission for the business.

We worked on repositioning SustainabilityWorks in line with the work and clients they were working with. Part of this repositioning was looking at the name and overall brand identity and communications. The SustainabilityWorks name was strong and well-recognised in the industry, but the identity needed to be refreshed, so we opted to stack the name vertically, enhancing its impact and clarity.

SustainabilityWorks make the approach to sustainability accessible and simple to understand, essentially providing the building blocks for positive action, inspiring real change for their clients and beyond. This simple principle was carried through the identity, by creating a unique SW monogram, which becomes an elegant and distinctive mark.

Collaborating closely with the leadership team, we developed a comprehensive rebrand, refining their identity, colour palette, visual language, website, and marketing materials to better reflect their strategic vision.

An Engaging Circle Grid
We then looked to expand this out into the development of their own distinctive visual language. The circles that formed part of the SW monogram allowed us to introduce a series of circular shapes into the visual language, this gave us a dynamic device for introducing images from nature, powerful photography and circular forms that reflected the values of sustainability.

Use of colour
We shifted the colour palette towards a vibrant and engaging combination of shades of orange, teal, and deep yellow, reflecting SustainabilityWorks’ positive vision of creating meaningful change with an almost tangible energy - colours inspired by nature and aligned with their brand values.

Website
The goal of their new website was to reflect SustainabilityWorks commitment to driving positive change through sustainability. We focused on creating an intuitive, user-friendly platform that effectively showcases SustainabilityWorks' wide range of services, from climate action to sustainable finance. With a clean, modern design and carefully curated content, the website serves as a hub for knowledge and insights on sustainability, aligning perfectly with their mission to help organisations transition to a low-carbon future.
Responsive Web Design
Key features of the site included a seamless navigation experience, visually engaging graphics, and a responsive layout that adapts to any device.
Inspiring Action
Building the website gave us the opportunity to merge creativity with purpose, creating a digital presence for SustainabilityWorks that both informs and inspires action toward a more sustainable world.
